Digital Innovations Disrupting Medical Diagnostics Value Chain

DIGI-B-CUBE project, funded under the European Union´s Horizon 2020 Programme, aims to unlock the cross-sectoral collaborative potential of SMEs by combining novel Digital Technologies with the Bioimaging-Biosensing-Biobanking industries. The project will support development and delivery of new market sensitive disruptive technologies and key digital innovations to reconfigure patient-centred diagnostics towards a Health Economy 4.0.

up to € 60,000

DIGI-B-CUBE will foster the development of customized solutions and prototypes for the healthcare sector by providing innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) in the EU and Associated Countries with access to vouchers of up to € 60,000. Travel vouchers available from September 2019.

Join Matchmaking & Coaching Events

DIGI-B-CUBE encourages SMEs to take part in matchmaking events and face-to-face meetings to identify value chain issues, innovation barriers and digital solutions, thus, to find collaboration partners from the IT or Health sector and apply for funding for joint innovation projects that address value chain issues.

Innovation Services for Digital Transformation

DIGI-B-CUBE enables the successful digital transformation of SMEs through innovation services (e.g. digital maturity assessment tool, a knowledge repository) and follow-up coaching in order to successfully develop and scale-up digital innovation products and services.

DIGI-B-CUBE Sectoral Workshops

The DIGI-B-CUBE project organised a series of four sectoral workshops in October and November 2019. The workshops were held in Badalona (Spain), Frankfurt (Germany), Linz (Austria) and Oslo (Norway). The objectives and topics of discussion of then workshops were exclusive to one another. However, the overall aim was to connect, educate and influence health IT leaders across academia, industry, clusters and policymakers.

The coordinator of DIGI-B-CUBE project, Oslo Cancer Cluster (OCC), co-organised the last DIGI-B-CUBE sectoral workshop on 12-13 November 2019. The workshop was held as conjunction with EHiN 2019 conference, and aimed at connecting, educating and influencing health IT leaders across academia, industry, clusters and policymakers.
