On 29 September 2021, the DIGI-B-CUBE project held a 2-hour coaching workshop on the topic of the Horizon Europe programme and recommendations on the successful development of proposals. The workshop was moderated by the DIGIBCUBE partner SPI – Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação with the key expert Francisco Rocha, a senior specialist consultant at SPI.
After the introductory presentation, the fifteen participants and representatives of the European SMEs had a chance to learn more about the specificities of the programme and had a chance to clarify their doubts with the key expert. Within this process, participants demonstrated great interest in the EU funding opportunities and their successful approaches in getting funding to commence or continue with the development of their innovation projects.
The coaching session encouraged a thematic discussion on the topic of interest for SMEs and also helped SMEs learn more about eligibility and relevant calls for SMEs in Horizon Europe. Participants had the chance to learn more about tools and places to identify relevant calls, about the EIC Pathfinder challenges and the EIC Accelerator, amongst other topics.
